Fort Mill Care Center Events: We would like to thank you for your support in previous years. Without the generous support of our community, none of these programs would be possible.

June & July 2010 ►School Back Packs Program
WE ARE CURRENTLY IN NEED OF SCHOOL BACK PACKS AND SCHOOL SUPPLIES for this program to succeed.

In 2009, the Fort Mill Care Center was able to give out 341 FILLED back packs. They sent 10 each to The Children's Attention Center and Safe Passage along with 2 boxes of school supplies. They also provided supplies to the Fort Mill Academy and the GED class, both located at the FM Resource Center. Because of your generosity, we were able to give out school supplies throughout the year. Thank you.

September 2010 ►Toothbrush Program
In 2008, Jan Arnold coordinated this effort so that 251 families (795 people) received toothbrushes and toothpaste. Dr. Davis donated children's toothbrushes and dental floss. This program is also planned for 2009. We thank you in advance for your generosity.

October 2010 ► Girl Scouts Food Drive
In Oct. 2009, the Girl Scouts collected 9,800 lbs of food. If there is a Girl Scout who lives in your area, or someone you know has a daughter in Girl Scouts, please let them know that you will have a donation for them. The Girl Scouts Food Drive has been one of the biggest drives for the Care Center. Please remember that we can also use household cleaners, face, dish and laundry soaps, feminine hygiene products, baby diapers, formula, pull-ups, and anything non-perishable that you might use around your home. We thank you in advance for your generosity.

November 2010 ► Boy Scouts Food Drive
If there is a Boy Scout who lives in your area, or someone you know has a son in Boy Scouts, please let them know that you will have a donation for them. Please remember that we can also use household cleaners, face, dish and laundry soaps, feminine hygiene products, baby diapers, formula, pull-ups, and anything non-perishable that you might use around your home. We thank you in advance for your generosity.

November 2010 ►Thanksgiving Dinner Program
In 2009, The Care Center packed and distributed 261 Thanksgiving dinners. We thank you for your generosity.

December 2010 ►Santa's Helper Program
In 2008, sponsors provided Christmas gifts to 227 families (537 children). In addition to toys and clothing, 92 bikes, trikes, and riding toys were given. We thank you for your generosity.

December 2010 ►Christmas Dinner Program
In 2009, The Care Center packed and distributed 207 Christmas dinners. We thank you for your generosity.

► 2010 Easter Baskets for Children Program
In 2008, we distributed out approximately 75 Easter baskets to the children of Fort Mill. We are distrubuting Easter Baskets to children through March 31, 2010. The Care Center will be closed on Good Friday, April 2, 2010 (To receive a basket, children must be born between the years 2002 and 2008.) We thank you in advance for your generosity.

May 8, 2010 ► USPS "Stamp Out Hunger" Food Drive • web site • We collected over 9,000 lbs of items this year. Thank you for your generosity.
Please place all donated items in bags and put them by your mailbox. A postal service carrier will pick them up. Please remember that we can also use household cleaners, face, dish and laundry soaps, feminine hygiene products, baby diapers, formula, pull-ups, and anything non-perishable that you might use around your home.
