Fort Mill Care Center Upcoming Programs:

We would like to thank you for your support in previous years. Without the generous support of our community, none of these programs would be possible.

September:

Healthy Teeth Program. All clients, in the month of September, receive a new toothbrush for each member of their household and toothpaste. All donations of toothbrushes and toothpaste are appreciated.

October:

Girl Scout Food Drive will be Saturday, October 22nd. Scouts will leave notes and bags at the homes they will be collecting. This is the 10th year girl scouts have collected food for the Care Center. If anyone would like to donate, but a scout did not leave a note, we will have the Care Center open October 22nd from 10 a.m. to noon to receive food.

Santa’s Helper Program: Starting October 3rd, clients can sign up their children to receive Christmas gifts from willing sponsors. The sign ups will be from October 3rd through November 16th. If you would like to sponsor a child or children for Christmas, please contact Lisa Lengel. Her e-mail address is slengel_ms@msn.com

November:

Cub/ Boys Scouts: On Saturday, November 12th, the Boy Scouts will be conducting a food drive for the Care Center. If you would like to donate but a scout did not leave a bag, the Care Center will be open from 10 a.m. to noon to receive food.

Thanksgiving Dinners. All clients can receive an extra bag of food containing the fixings for a Thanksgiving dinner. This food will be distributed on November 18th and 21st. The foods we try to include are turkeys, turkey breast, corn, peas, stuffing mix, instant potatoes, rice, cranberry sauce, pie fillings and cake mixes. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated.

December:

Christmas Dinners. All clients can receive an extra bag of food containing the fixings for a Christmas dinner. This food will be distributed on December 19th and 21st. We try to include the same type of food as the Thanksgiving dinner. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated.
