The Fort Mill Care Center is making some changes and we need your help!
We will not be accepting donated food after June 30th
The reason for this is that we have been advised by the School Board that we need to be out of the building that now houses the Center, by the end of July, because demolition starts on all buildings in the Bank Street school complex the first week of August.
We have been so very fortunate in the past, of having the School District allow us the use of the building that we are now in – but as they say “all good things must come to an end”, therefore we are looking for a new home for the Center – we have contacted some Realtors in the area but so far we have not been able to find a location large enough to house
the Center in the downtown area…. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
This will also put a damper on the book bags and school supplies this year, so we are asking that any school supplies you collect be given directly to the school(s).
This will be a temporary closing until we move to a new location.
Clients eligible for services in August can come into the Center between July 17 and July 31.
There will be a Special Board of Directors meeting on Tuesday, June 25, 2013, 9:00 A.M. at the Fort Mill Care Center to discuss the current situation and immediate plans.
